Dear Students & Friends,

A vote on the DREAM Act may take place in Congress this week.

The DREAM Act would make a huge difference in the lives of immigrant youth who were brought to the US as children and are now seeking a path to citizenship.

 

Minnesota’s immigrant rights organizations ask you to CALL Congressmen Peterson, Walz, and Paulsen from Minnesota and members of the North and South Dakota congressional delegations – even if you do not live in their districts – and please FORWARD this action alert to friends and family who live in those districts.

 

You can reach every member of Congress by dialing the Capitol Switchboard at 202-224-3121 and asking to be connected to the member’s office.

Please make your call and let these legislators know why you want them to support the DREAM Act (Senate bill #729 or House bill #1751).
