Hi Everyone and welcome to Idaho Genealogy! I look forward to hearing
from everyone. We will be discussing Idaho history, pioneers, vital
records, etc. If you have a certain name or area you are interest in
just ask and we will see what can be found.

Before going any further I'd like to introduce myself. My name is
Charity. I was born and raised in Pocatello, Bannock, Idaho. In 1985
I started researching my family so I could get to know Earlin Louella
Butler, my daddy's mom. Earlin died while she was in her early
thirties. She was LDS like so much of the rest of the family. When she
was a child she became ill with Rhumatic Fever which affected her
heart. Her heart was healthy until that point but later on she could
possibly have (if she lived) contracted other heart problems as her
mother and her father both had them. Her father died in his early 20s
from hereditary heart problems.

I come from a family of three (kids). As much as our parents wanted us
to do things as a family we seldom did. About the only thing we did as
a family was go camping. I was the oldest of three and spent most of
the time dancing in my bedroom or doing genealogy. My siblings each
did their own thing.

In 1994 I graduated high school, got married, and had a baby. Since
then I have had numerous jobs, stayed home, but always focused on the
genealogy. Currently I am working at Office Max, writing a novel,
working on three family history books, and doing genealogy
professionally. I just joined the D.U.P. and am very excited about
learning everything they can teach.

A few basic rules need to be established and they are as follows:

No Spamming allowed
Be polite to one another
Try and stay on topic - lol a little roaming doesn't hurt anyone as
long as it is not adult oriented.

That's about it. Will post more as needed later on.

Charity
