Jeff's Day in Court (Fort Worth City Hall - Council Chambers) - Monday 06/23/2025

I arrived at Fort Worth City Hall a little after 9:00 AM today.

I was the first case to get heard after lunch.  (Yes I had to sit through a bunch of other cases.)

I was given 90 days to repair or demolish my house.

I can file an amendment when I have a statement of work with dates on when the work will be done.

After hearing a few of the cases I realized that I needed a statement of work with dates and I didn't have one.

I texted the contractor and he replied that I'll have that as soon as the permit to rebuild goes through.  I texted him and said that we could already have one and modify the dates after we get the permits...

The Fort Worth Code enforcement agent that she will work with me as long as she keeps seeing progress.
