Read more » Street Closures I-35W Construction Closures and Detours Construction on I-35W from I-30 to US 287 is in full swing. Capacity improvements span 18 miles and include a section of highway that is ranked as the state's eighth most congested roadway. Know the closures and detours before you get in the car. Other Projects Arts Goggle Street Closures (Active until Oct. 11, 2015): Park Place Avenue from 8th Avenue to Enderly Place will be closed from 8 a.m. to midnight Saturday, October 10th. At. Andrew's Catholic School Fall Festival Street Closure (Active until Oct. 11, 2015): Dryden Road from Stadium Drive to Winfield Avenue will be closed from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, October 11th. Harrold Street (Active until Jan. 7, 2016): Harrold Street from West Seventh Street to Dakota street for utility construction and pavement improvements for the Trinity Left Bank Development I-35W Construction (Active until Oct. 31, 2015): Southbound I-35W off-ramp to Basswood Boulevard through October 2015 I-35W Construction (Active until Jan. 31, 2017): Detour of westbound Loop 820 to southbound I-35W traffic exiting to Meacham through January 2017 I-35W Construction (Active until Dec. 31, 2015): On-ramp to northbound I-35W at Western Center Boulevard through December 2015 I-35W Construction (Active until Jan. 31, 2016): Northbound I-35W off-ramp to westbound Spur 280 through January 2016 I-35W Construction (Active until Oct. 8, 2015): Beginning at 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1 through 6 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, the intersection of Western Center Boulevard at I-35W will be reconstructed and traffic shifted onto new pavement. During this period, east and westbound Western Center Boulevard will be reduced to one lane approaching the I-35W frontage roads. Please note there will be no left-turn access onto the frontage roads during this time. Traffic will be directed to follow I-35W access detours.
