I get 60 grams Gamunex every four weeks and have over 300 IViG
infusions over the past 26 years. My infusions take less than 2 hours
and we ramp up the rate every 15 minutes and end at 400. I take an
Advil and an Allegra prior to my infusion and make sure I am well
hydrated. Does every one on this board have need to infuse slowly and
have the side effect I hear about?

they hydrate me first (and then benadryl) and the entire thing take 3.5 hours.  I read if they do it too fast, you can get heart attack or massive headaches.  Have the IVIGs helped you?  Will you have to do them for life?

You're the smart one ... hydration is the key, I've been told ... same with my Mom with chemo.
