Six Flags' creditors want bondholder group revealed
WILMINGTON, Del., Dec 28 (Reuters) - Senior bondholders who drafted the reorganization plan for bankrupt Six Flags should reveal their investments to determine if they fairly represented themselves to the theme park company, according to a court filing by creditors.

Weavers save Kiddie Park, build a bright future
San Antonio, TX - The Kiddie Park was in decline, and by the spring of 2009 its condition looked terminal. The small amusement park on Broadway was sinking beneath a two-front attack: the neighborhood's urban decay, and the slow oxidation of deferred maintenance. Sun Moon Lake gondola system to open
Taipei, Dec. 27 (CNA) A cable car system that will provide an aerial link between two popular tourist destinations in central Taiwan -- Sun Moon Lake and the nearby Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village amusement park -- will open to the public Dec. 28, the amusement park administration said Sunday.

Congress hasn't acted on regulation of rides
WASHINGTON — In May 2008, Kaitlyn Lasitter traveled from Louisville to the nation's capital to make a plea for federal regulation of fixed-site rides at amusement parks.  Despite her pleas, Congress has not moved on Markey's legislation, which would close what he views as a dangerous loophole in federal law.
