ANAHEIM – Prospective machinists and electricians often get an unusual question when applying for jobs at Disneyland: Do you scuba dive? Scuba diving plays a major role for 54 employees at the Disneyland Resort, one of the more odd jobs at the two parks. Divers are responsible for maintaining and fixing rides and equipment in the waterways in the two theme parks, Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.

The fish finally will have a home in the Flats. An e-mailed invitation is announcing the Feb. 2 groundbreaking for the $33 million first phase of what's being called the Greater Cleveland Aquarium. It will be housed in the Powerhouse on the west bank of the Flats.

Is it a David vs. Goliath fight, or confusion over numbers?
CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, NJ – Cape May County Freeholders Tuesday withdrew a proposed resolution approving a new contract with Aramark Sports and Entertainment Services, LLC, for the provision of food and other concession services at the County Park & Zoo, after the proposal met with strong words from a competitor and confusion over the amount of the bid.

Robot dinosaurs to invade Lowry Park Zoo
Tampa, FL - The zoo will open a new exhibit in February featuring mechanical, life-size replicas of creatures that roamed the earth 200 million years ago. The roster of robotic dinosaurs that arrived Wednesday include a Tyrannosaurus, a Brachiosaurus and Dilophosaurus.

Denver Zoo to offer half-price admission on Prairie Dog Day
Prairie dog Daisey saw her shadow Wednesdayyes, a week ahead of Groundhog Day — which means her keeper, the Denver Zoo, is offering half-price admission Sunday. The deal is part of the zoo's Prairie Dog Day celebration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Prairie dogs are cousins to groundhogs.
