New legal action could delay the sale of Cedar Fair to Apollo Global
Management. Four lawsuits filed in Erie County Common Pleas Court on behalf
of five Cedar Fair unitholders claim the deal is unfair.

to Kids’ Pricing Based on Age

Christmas Day Parade Preview
This Christmas day, ABC is set to air the annual Disney Parks Christmas
Day Parade. Families can tune in and check out the celebrity appearances, as
well as their favorite Disney characters as they make their way around the

Weekends 2010 Dates Announced
News just in concerning Star Wars Weekends 2010…we’ve confirmed dates for
the annual event held at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park. Here are the
weekends: May 21 – 23 May 28 – 30 June 4 – 6 June 11 – 13 If you’ve never
been, Star Wars Weekends is an annual event that celebrates the space-fantasy
Star Wars Saga and the animated TV series The Clone Wars. There are special
shows, presentations and memorabilia. We’re told Disney Park guests can
expect a lot of surprises at this year’s event so check back for future
updates.

park could remain a myth
United Kingdom - Last month, developers Orcestrator revealed plans to
create a mythical Dark Age world attraction, complete with sieges, feasts and
battles, on land at Houghall College. But Orcestrator is threatening to pull

The Cat in the
Hat stays pat at Fresno Met
FRESNO, Calif.—The Cat in the Hat and the Muppets have something in
common: They're sticking with Fresno's financially plagued Metropolitan
Museum. On Sunday an exhibitor of Mark Chagall etchings showed up
unexpectedly and removed 60 works over fears the struggling museum might not
last through next month. But curator Bill Dreyer says the art of Theodor
Geisel, aka Dr. Suess, will remain as planned until January 17.

New art museum
takes shape soon
The backers of a long-delayed Contemporary Art Museum expect to begin
construction early next year in downtown Raleigh's warehouse district. The
facility will include three galleries and classrooms in a renovated warehouse
at 409 W. Martin St. The nonprofit group behind the museum bought the old
warehouse in 1997 but ran into problems with fundraising and other obstacles.

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. — A museum is showing artwork collected by a Delta
flight attendant who started handing out crayons to passengers after the
Sept. 11th attacks. The Palm Springs Air Museum is showing "Plane Art -
Connecting People" through Jan. 25. Several dozen pictures are hanging
at the museum, and many others are available for visitors to leaf through in
folders.

Belugas Dies at Chicago Aquarium
CHICAGO (AP) -- One of two beluga whale calves born at Chicago's Shedd
Aquarium in the past week has died. Aquarium officials say the 5-foot, 6-inch
long male calf who weighed 152 pounds died Tuesday.

penguins: They hope the new birds find Aquarium romantic
The New England Aquarium may not have six geese a-laying, as the
Christmas carol dictates, but it does have six new penguins a-swimming.
Six female rockhopper penguins were released into the penguin pool yesterday
in time for the holiday, arriving from SeaWorld in Orlando.

Thieves snatch
exotic birds from Walton children's zoo
United Kingdom - CHILDREN will be left disappointed after callous thieves
stole more than 50 exotic birds from Walton Hall Gardens children’s zoo. The
thieves unscrewed a lock on the aviary and replaced it after taking 50
cockatiels, a Patagonian Conurea, a Prince of Wales parakeet and a few other
birds during the evening of December 15 or early hours of December 16.

Christmas came
early for residents at Drayton Manor Zoo
United Kingdom - CHRISTMAS can be celebrated by all creatures great and
small – as residents of Drayton Manor Park and Zoo proved. Father Christmas
made an extra- special delivery of holiday treats to the animals, spreading
festive cheer among the zoo’s inhabitants. The handmade packages dished out
by Santa ranged from meat-filled Christmas puddings for the tigers, food
crackers for the monkeys, to edible snowballs for the meerkats.

Ohio zoo
celebrates 53rd birthday of world's oldest captive gorilla with cake, treats
COLUMBUS, Ohio — At an Ohio zoo, a noteworthy senior citizen has turned
another year older. The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium on Tuesday celebrated the
53rd birthday of Colo. The International Species Information System says she
was the first western lowland gorilla born in a zoo and is now the oldest
gorilla in captivity.

Integrated
Resorts in Singapore upbeat about outlook in 2010
SINGAPORE: Three years in the making and Singapore's two integrated
resorts will finally open soon and the operators are upbeat about the
prospects. Resorts World Sentosa, due to open in a matter of weeks expects to
attract 13 million visitors in the first year alone. Resorts World Sentosa
said it's been receiving thousands of enquiries from the public everyday. And
one of the most talked about attractions is the Universal Studios. The theme
park is expected to attract some 30,000 visitors each day.
