International Theme Park Services, Inc. (“ITPS”) is currently seeking the following positions for a family/children’s theme park located in Istanbul, Turkey:
 
General Manager:
3-5 years operations experience. Must be familiar with finance, marketing and general operations.
 
Marketing Manager:
Responsible for group sales, public relations, advertising/promotions and corporate sponsorship. Should have 3-5 years experience in FEC/theme park marketing.
 
Operations/Maintenance Manager:
Areas of responsibility include facilities maintenance, rides and attractions, safety/first aid. Should have 3-5 years experience in maintenance, operations and safety. 

Requirements for all Positions:  All positions require 3-5 years experience in the FEC/theme park industry.  Assignment minimum:  3-5 years.  Salary (plus full benefits) commensurate with experience.

Aquarium reopens after ceiling collapse
OK - The Oklahoma Aquarium reopened today after a ceiling collapse caused some interior damage Thursday. "Primary roads leading to the Aquarium are mostly clear, the Aquarium parking lot is clear in large sections and the sidewalk leading to the Aquarium entrance is clear," Teri Bowers, executive director and chief operating officer, said in an e-mail.

AZ - A Maricopa County judge has ordered Tempe to pay a conservative Arizona watchdog group $21,450 in attorneys' fees in a case that challenged the legality of a $218,000 tax incentive to a UK-based developer of a mall aquarium.

Proposal emerges to build three-stadium complex in downtown Las Vegas
NV - A downtown sports complex proposal with three stadium venues has surfaced with a familiar name leading the effort. The $1.57 billion Las Vegas National Sports Center plan includes a proposal for a 17,500-seat arena for basketball and hockey, a 9,000-seat partially enclosed baseball stadium and a 50,000-seat partially enclosed football stadium. The baseball and football stadiums could be expanded to 36,000 and 75,000 seats, respectively, to host Major League Baseball and the National Football League.

Aldar Properties, Abu Dhabi's Largest Developer, Reports $3.5 Billion Loss
Aldar Properties PJSC, Abu Dhabi’s biggest developer, reported a full-year loss of 12.7 billion dirhams ($3.45 billion) after setting aside money to cover bad assets. The loss compares with a profit of 837.4 million dirhams in a year earlier, the company said in an e-mailed statement today. The mean estimate of eight analysts was for a loss of 8.2 billion dirhams, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
