Subject: ITSC 'Supporters Day' 2012

Dear Town Fans around the world,

 

A note following a recent ITSC Exec meeting to mention plans are afoot to organise another Supporters Day event. 

 

Usually we select the date and the branches make travel arrangements around that, however, on this occasion it was suggested we gather some information on when the overseas branches are planning their trips this Spring.  Therefore if you can provide me with those details, the ITSC can plan around the most popular match weekend. 

 

Historically, we've picked a Saturday that is followed by a midweek fixture to accommodate those overseas branches that are in the UK for a few days; therefore probably the most popular ones from the remainder of this season will be either:

 

(1) Sat 3 March: Bristol City (h); and Tue 6 March Soton (a); or

 

(2) Sat 17 March: Peterborough (h); and Wed 21 March Burnley (h).

 

However, I am informed that Ray Slegg will be organising a trip to Crystal Palace with some of the Norwegian Branch members on Sat 14 April, which is closely followed by a home game against Birmingham City on Tuesday 17 April, however, it would be preferable to have a Saturday home game to hold the event.

 

Finally, Liz Edwards mentions that post-game on Saturday 31 March (v Barnsley), some of the ex-Town players will be in Legends, which is another date you may wish to think about.

[Kevin Mulvey]

I was looking at going sometime in March. I know Mick is going on March 3, but apparently he has no other takers. I’d be interested in the St. Patrick’s Day dates as well if there was any chance of a group getting organized.
