Dear All,

 

I hope you are all well and looking forward to the big kick-off at Reading next Saturday.  It's good to note that we sold our away allocation with 10 days to spare; confidence/optimism amongst Town fans must be returning.

 

(i) 2014 Supporters Day

 

The main reason for the email is to mention that the ITSC Exec met recently and decided that the 2013/14 Supporters Day will take place on Saturday 15 March 2014, with events to take place before, at half-time and after our home match against Wigan Athletic.  Details about the events will be circulated nearer the time, however, this note is to provide your branch members, particularly those overseas, with as much notice as possible (8 months in fact), to plan your trips. 

 

From feedback received after last season's event, I believe most of the overseas members had an enjoyable time, including post-match meets with Town legends and pre-match live radio interviews on BBC Radio Suffolk with Phil Ham on the radio show Life's A Pitch. 

 

 

(ii) German Fans in Town - Fortuna Blues

 

I'm informed that a group of approximately 70 Town fans from Dusseldorf will be attending the QPR home game on Saturday 11 January 2014. Due to the numbers travelling for the game, I believe the ITSC Exec are planning some events to coincide with their visit. Further details will be circulated in a few months time.

 

 

(iii) Italian Town Fans Charity Match
