Dear all,
We are pleased to announce the workshop "Episodic Memory: Functions Across Contexts" which will take place on February 6th, 2026 at the London School of Economics and Political Science (and over Zoom). As part of the UKRI grant project “Episodic Memory: Uniquely Human?” led by Ali Boyle, this workshop will bring together leading researchers to elucidate the functions of episodic memory by examining its evolutionary origins, its interactions with other memory systems, its possible context-dependent roles, and other factors.
Confirmed speakers:
· Sara Aronowitz (University of Toronto)
· Marta Caravà (Purdue University)
· Sen Cheng (Ruhr-University Bochum)
· Carl Craver (Washington University in St. Louis)
· Muhammed Ali Khalidi (City University of New York)
· Maria Tello-Ramos (University of Hull)
Participation is open to everyone. No registration is required. Details about the venue and the Zoom coordinates will be provided in early February. If you’d like more information, please get in touch with us at: episodicmem...@gmail.com
