The Philosophy Department at the Angewandte brings together the systematic themes of philosophy to address specific questions stemming from problems in art, politics, science, and media. Key focal points and methods lie in the areas of aesthetics, ontology, epistemology, dialectics, and psychoanalysis. This work orients itself in an attempt to grasp the present by the means of conceptual thinking.

 

 

Application deadline: December 31, 2025. Applications can be subitted in German or English.
