The workshop has three events, each lasting one hour for a total of three hours:
- 10-11am ET: Paper prize talks and discussion. We will host a Q&A with Sangwoon Yoo, winner of the 2025 INES paper prize, and runners-up Giulia De Togni, Bruce Kloot, and Corrinne Shaw.
- 11-12pm: 3-minute lightning talks. Sign up to share a short message with our community, whether it's an update on your current work, a question or request for the community, an idea for a collaborative project, or anything else. These talks are hosted
in partnership with the Engineering Studies working group of the Consortium for the History of Science, Technology, and Medicine (CHSTM).
- 12-1pm: Informal Discussion: What next? We'll reflect on the October 2024 INES workshop (Appelhans and Hearty 2025). The main discussion question: Based on what we’ve learned in 2024 and
2025, what do we as INES want to do going forward?
This workshop will spark new conversations and continue enduring ones about the work of engineering studies scholars.
