[hopos-g] Call for nominations: HOPOS Steering Committee and Nominations and Elections Committee

Dear HOPOS members,
In the Fall of 2025, HOPOS will hold an election for two new members of the Steering Committee and three members of the Nominations and Elections Committee. Delphine Bellis and Alexander Klein will finish their terms on December 31st, 2025, while Bennett McNulty, María de Paz, Paolo Cantù, and Yafeng Shan will continue to serve on the Steering Committee. Angela Axworthy and Sander Verhaegh will finish their terms as members of the Nominations and Elections Committee on December 31st, 2025.
The Nominations and Elections Committee is currently soliciting nominations (including self-nominations) of HOPOS members to run to fill the two positions of the Steering Committee and three positions of the Nominations and Elections Committee that will become open on January 1st, 2026.

Please also include an email address for each nominee. Do not send nominations by replying to this email. If you reply to this email, your message will go to the entire HOPOS listserv.
The last day to submit nominations will be September 10th. Please be sure to renew your membership in HOPOS by September 20th at the latest. Only members of HOPOS as of September 20th are eligible to vote in this election. Ballots will be sent to registered members of HOPOS only, not to the general list.
