Dear Colleagues,

Please find below the Call for Papers for the 6th Annual International Conference organised by the International Lab for Innovative Cultural and Social Research (ILIS), whose mission is to promote theoretical, epistemological and methodological advances in the social sciences.

The title of the 2026 edition is "Epistemic Shift in the Post-Digital Society. The dilemma of knowledge production between generative models and quantum futures".

The conference will take place on 14 and 15 May 2026 in a hybrid format, both online and in person. The event will be hosted by the University of Naples Federico II (Italy), with the support of its twin partner, the University of Sharjah (United Arab Emirates).

As every year, there will also be opportunities for publication (you can find all the information in the call text).

I kindly ask you to disseminate the call for papers within your networks, particularly among doctoral students and young scholars. You are also invited to share this communication with colleagues who may be interested in participating.

Deadline for abstract submission: 30 January 2026

Notification to authors: 20 February 2026

Deadline for payment and registration: 10 April 2026

Submission of full papers: 30 April 2026

Conference dates: 14-16 May 2026
