Dear Colleagues,

The Women in Medicine Legacy Foundation presents the Alma Dea Morani Renaissance Woman award each year to a woman who has left a significant mark on history and helped to advance the future. The Foundation is proud to present the 2025 award at a virtual event on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 4 p.m. ET to Dr. Jocelyn Elders, who served as Surgeon General of the United States om 1993 and 1994.

The event is free and open to everyone, but advance registration is required. Please go to the Women in Medicine Legacy Foundation website, and click on the events tab to register. We hope some of you will be able to attend.
