Dear Colleagues,
from 27th to 31th July 2026, the third Passau Summer School for Applied Ethics (PASSAE) will take place at the University of Passau, Germany. We would be very thankful, if you could circulate this Call for Applications among your students!
PASSAE 2026 is dedicated to questions of migration ethics such as: How can theories of justice be applied to real-world migration challenges? What responsibilities do states and societies have toward refugees and migrants? How can the rights of particularly vulnerable groups in migration be protected? How do climate change and technology shape migration and our ethical duties? This event offers lectures by international experts, group discussions and further exploration of the topic as well as a corresponding cultural program.
PASSAE is an international and interdisciplinary event. It is open to students of all disciplines and especially interesting for students of humanities, such as philosophy and history, of political and social sciences, European studies, information technology or sustainability studies.
For further information, please visit our website https://passae.uni-passau.de or contact us at pas...@uni-passau.de.
Thank you for your support!
