2 PhD positions in STS and A.I. - University of Trieste

Dear Colleagues,

 For those interested in studying artificial intelligence (AI) from a Science and Technology Studies perspective, we have the following open, fully funded PhD positions at the University of Trieste (Italy):

- 1 PhD position on ‘Artificial Intelligence and Forms of Responsibility’, based in the Department of Mathematics and Geosciences;

- 1 PhD position on ‘Artificial Intelligence and Digital Welfare’, based in the Department of Political and Social Sciences.

 

The two positions are framed within the PhD programme in ‘Applied Data Science & Artificial Intelligence’ (ADSAI), which is taught in English and structured into three curricula. (For more information on ADSAI, see https://adsai.units.it/ )

In particular, the selected PhD candidates will be enrolled in the ADSAI curriculum ‘Economy and society’, aimed at exploring the applications and the implications of AI in our societies.
