First Lunch Talk: Friday, April 24, 2026, 12:00 – 13:00 CET:

Dr. Kian Mintz-Woo (Cork): “Why Philosophers Should(n't) Join Policy Commissions”

Abstract: This work tries to systematically canvas relevant considerations for philosophers considering joining policy commissions. We ask both whether she should engage with some given policy commission and whether she should engage with some given policy commission. Along the way, we consider some potential differences between normative philosophers and philosophers of science in policy roles.
