Members of this list might be interested in the launch of a new collaborative initiative in the history and philosophy of science. The Boston Network for the History and Philosophy of Physics (BNHPP) is a collaboration across several universities in the Greater Boston area (Tufts, BU, Harvard, MIT, Northeastern, Boston College, Smith College, Mount Holyoke) and open to anyone interested in the history and philosophy of the physical sciences (very openly and broadly conceived!), including visitors! We are setting up a long term, inter-university infrastructure for students and researchers to present and discuss cutting edge research in our field. We also aim to make several talks accessible via zoom.

You can now check out our colloquium program for the coming year and sign up for our mailing list. Peter Galison's inaugural lecture will take place on Sep 18, 5-7PM ET. You can sign up here (please indicate in the form if you are not in Boston but would like to participate over zoom).

Best,
Miguel
