The Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics at Tel Aviv University is pleased to announce its call for Post-Doc and Doctoral Fellowship applications for the academic year 2026-27.

 

We welcome applications from a broad spectrum of disciplines, including philosophy, political science, social sciences, the humanities, and law. In the current turbulent times, wherein democratic regimes all over the world grapple with serious challenges, the Edmond J. Safra Center remains committed to promoting multidisciplinary research addressing the critical issues confronting liberal democracies worldwide.

 

Our center is devoted to exploring innovative ideas and constructing knowledge that contributes to a profound understanding of the norms and institutions crucial for the resilience of democracies. The Center is proud to have a cohort of fellows consisting of diverse scholars from leading academic institutions. Alongside their individual research projects, our fellows actively participate in an advanced research seminar and a weekly colloquium, offering a platform to discuss foundational texts and showcase their projects.

 

The Center collaborates with its twin Center - The Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard - and takes pride in its distinguished international advisory board, featuring all-star experts in law, political science, and political philosophy.
