Dear philosophers

I have been approached in my Linkedin profile by a CEO of a tech company I do not know (perhaps he is a bot) asking me to participate in research they do with AI. Apparently they want me to provide them problems and solutions in Philosophy so that they can feed them into the AI agents they collaborate with....
The money offered ($118 per problem and solution) make it tempting but there are serious ethical reasons  for not doing it (workers exploitation in third world and "developing" countries, climate footprint etc) so I turned them down.
After I raised this with a few of my academic friends I found that they also have been approached by this "agent". Taking into consideration the recent events where AI agents refused to switch off, I think this makes it even more important not to co-operate with them.
As philosophers and academic teachers I think we need to raise the alarm here.
If you would like to co-operate with me for organising an online conference on this, please let me know at cathanasop @ googlemail.com (I have placed spaces in my email for avoiding the bots what watch this space....)
Best regards
Costas
