Dear list members,

We are pleased to announce that registration for the upcoming online lecture series "Embodiments of Evil" is now open!

To register, please fill out this form.

The lectures will take place on Thursdays from February 5th to March 19th via Zoom from 5:00 to 6:00 PM (CET).

Here is the full schedule :  

February 5th, 2026 - Professor Yujin Nagasawa (University of Oklahoma) "The Problem of Evil and the Psychology of Meaning"  

February 12th, 2026 - Dr Daniel Rubio & Dr Eddy Chen (Toronto Metropolitan University, University of California) "Evil and the Quantum Multiverse"  

February 19th, 2026 - Dr Michael Wilby (Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge) "The conceptual engineering of 'evil'"  

February 26th, 2026 - Dr Nataliia Reva (Federal Technological University of Paraná) "War as an Embodiment of Evil"  

March 5th, 2026  - Professor Daniel Candel Bormann (University of Alcalá) "Systematising evils in narrative fiction"  

March 12th, 2026 - Dr Mariia Lihus (National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy) "Artistic Approaches to Portraying Evil in Ukrainian Cinema of the 1990s"  

March 19th, 2026 - Dr Stefaniia Demchuk (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv) "Folly as the New Evil: Fools and Sinners in the Early Modern Netherlands"
