The African Institute of Epistemology & Philosophy of Science (ACEPS), at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa invites applications for Philosophy masters/doctoral scholarships (fees + research assistantship) starting 1 February 2027. Continued funding is dependent on performance and reviewed every term.
ACEPS core areas of expertise are epistemic decolonisation, epistemic oppression, African epistemology, social epistemology, political philosophy or the epistemology of the internet/AI, and philosophy of science. A new area of interest is the Epistemology of Climate Change.
