I’m pleased to announce that the deadline for submissions to the Philosophical Studies special issue on Superintelligent Robots has been extended to October 31st.
I am co-editing this special issue together with David Gunkel (USA) for Philosophical Studies, one of the leading journals in general philosophy:

The emergence of superintelligent robots raises urgent and far-reaching philosophical questions. These entities, with the potential to exceed human intelligence and capacities, challenge our assumptions across a wide range of areas—including ethics, metaphysics, epistemology, and the philosophy of mind. This special issue aims to gather cutting-edge research that critically engages with these issues and helps build a comprehensive philosophical framework for addressing the implications of superintelligent artificial agents.
We warmly welcome submissions that address these themes from any philosophical perspective. Please feel free to share this call with colleagues and others who might be interested.
We look forward to receiving your work.
