Bergen Philosophy of Science Workshop 19-20 Oct.
2023
(BPSW 2023, 11th edition)
Bergen, Norway
The Dept. of Philosophy at Univ. of Bergen holds its annual international workshop on 19 & 20 Oct. 2023. In addition to several invited speakers, the workshop will feature contributed presentations. If interested to give a talk, please send an abstract of ca. 500 words, together with a short CV to sba...@uib.no (preferably in the same pdf file)
Submission deadline: 4 Sept. 2023
Decisions: by 11 Sept. 2023
For the past decade, BPSW has been devoted to showcasing recent work in philosophy of science, broadly construed (to include topics in the philosophy of physics, mathematics, biology, as well as HPS; metaphysical approaches are also welcome). We encourage submissions of work-in-progress. The workshop language is English.
The event will take place at the Philosophy Dept., in Bergen, Norway. The selected speakers will have to arrange for their travel and accommodation themselves (the organizers can offer logistic support with this). Currently efforts are being made to secure funds for small honoraria to the speakers to help offsetting these costs.
