We seek:

In Faculty I, Department of Philosophy, we are looking for a researcher from October 1st 2024 at the following conditions:

  • 50% = 19,92 hours
  • Pay grade 13 TV-L
  • limited until 30.09.2026

 

Your tasks:

  • Teaching BA-courses in theoretical philosophy
  • Design and development of an own research project in Kant’s theoretical philosophy, or analytic metaphysics of time, or philosophy of science
  • Organization of an international workshop on the corresponding topic
  • Assistance in preparing a funding application for a subsequent predoctoral research position
  • Teaching duties: 2 semester hours per week

 

Your profile:

  • Master's or equivalent degree in philosophy (alternatively in Mathematics, Physics, or Biology)
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, very good organizational and communication skills
