Call for Application
The PhD program in History and Philosophical-Social Sciences hosted by the University of Rome Tor Vergata, has opened its call for applications for the 42nd cycle of the doctoral programme
- 6 fully funded university scholarships are available, together with additional positions reserved for specific categories.
The call is open to applicants holding a Master’s Degree, Single-cycle Degree, Specialist Degree, Old-system Degree, or an equivalent foreign qualification corresponding to EQF Level 7. Degrees obtained abroad will be evaluated by the PhD Board solely for the purposes of admission to the doctoral programme.
The program brings together a wide range of research interests and methodological approaches within the historical and philosophical-social sciences.
Major research fields are:
PHIL-01/A - Theoretical Philosophy
PHIL-03/A - Moral Philosophy
GSPS-01/A - Political Philosophy and Social Sciences
PHIL-04/A - Aesthetics
Salary and funding conditions:
– €18,645.63 gross per year per academic year
– 50% increase of the scholarship for research stays abroad
