OFA’14 – CHAMADA DE RESUMOS
A décima quarta edição da Oficina de Filosofia Analítica (OFA) terá lugar em Braga, no dia 07 de Novembro de 2025, na Universidade do Minho, com o apoio do Centro de Estudos Humanísticos da Universidade do Minho (CEHUM), unidade de investigação da Escola de Letras, Artes e Ciências Humanas (ELACH).
A OFA é uma oficina de pós-licenciatura em filosofia analítica (entendida em sentido lato), cujo objetivo é a criação de um ambiente estimulante para estudantes de mestrado e de doutoramento e jovens investigadores/as (i.e. pessoas que tenham completado o seu doutoramento nos últimos três anos) na comunidade filosófica portuguesa (i.e. pessoas portuguesas ou a morar em Portugal). A oficina é uma iniciativa da Sociedade Portuguesa de Filosofia Analítica (SPFA), apoiada também pela Sociedade Portuguesa de Filosofia (SPF), e teve a sua primeira edição em 2006.
Aceitamos submissões de estudantes de mestrado e doutoramento e de jovens investigadores/as que preencham os critérios acima referidos. As línguas de trabalho da oficina são o português e o inglês. Aceitam-se propostas de comunicação nos mais diversos domínios da filosofia analítica, incluindo, entre outros, os seguintes tópicos:
Epistemologia
Estética e Filosofia da Arte
Ética e Filosofia Política
Filosofia Crítica da Raça
Filosofia da Linguagem
Filosofia da Mente
Filosofia Feminista
Lógica e Filosofia da Matemática
Metafísica
Encorajamos particularmente submissões de filósofos/as provenientes de grupos sociais atualmente sub-representados na disciplina.
Os artigos não devem ultrapassar as 500 palavras (excluindo referências) e devem ser preparados para avaliação anónima em formato .pdf. As submissões devem ser enviadas para o endereço oficinadefilo...@gmail.com até ao dia 20 de Julho de 2025. No assunto do e-mail deve constar “Submissão OFA 14”. Toda a informação sobre o/a autor/a deve ser enviada no corpo do e-mail e incluir: o nome do/a autor/a, endereço de e-mail e afiliação institucional. As comunicações dos resultados serão enviadas por e-mail até ao dia 15 de Setembro de 2025.

OFA’14 – CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
The fourteenth edition of the Oficina de Filosofia Analítica (OFA) will take place in Braga, on November 7th 2025, at the University of Minho, hosted by the Center for Humanistic Studies of the University of Minho (CEHUM), a research unit of the School of Letters, Arts and Human Sciences (ELACH).
OFA is a graduate workshop in analytic philosophy (broadly construed), aimed at providing a stimulating environment for graduate students and young researchers (i.e., having obtained their PhD in the last 3 years) in the Portuguese philosophical community (i.e., either Portuguese or based in Portugal). The workshop is an initiative of the Portuguese Society for Analytic Philosophy (SPFA), also supported by the Portuguese Society of Philosophy (SPF), with its first edition taking place in 2006.

We particularly encourage submissions by philosophers from groups currently underrepresented in the discipline.
Papers should have no more than 500 words (excluding references), be prepared for blind review and in .pdf format. Submit them to oficinadefilo...@gmail.com by July 20th 2025, with the subject "Submission OFA 14". Information about the author should be in the body of the e-mail and include: author's name, e-mail address, and institutional affiliation. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by e-mail by September 15th 2025.
