במסגרת הכינוס השישי לתקשורת המדע בישראל תתקיימנה סדנאות למדענים ולכתבי מדע.

הסדנאות יונחו על ידי:

-          ד"ר ג'יימס גיליס, ראש האגף לתקשורת בסרן, מאיץ החלקיקים בז'נבה

-          פרופ' ברוס לווינשטיין, ראש המחלקה ללימודי מדע וטכנולוגיה (STS), וחבר המחלקה לתקשורת באוניברסיטת קורנל

הסדנאות תתקיימנה בשפה האנגלית.

 

מתי? יום חמישי, 25.6.2015, בשעות 09:30-12:15

איפה? מכון דוידסון לחינוך מדעי, מכון ויצמן למדע, חדרים 1 ו -2

למי זה מיועד?

1.      אנשי ונשות מדע, הנדסה, רפואה ומתמטיקה, וכן מדענים שבדרך, המעוניינים לשפר את כישוריהם בהנגשת מדע לציבור הרחב ובמגעיהם עם התקשורת.

2.      כתבי וכתבות מדע, איכות הסביבה ובריאות, וכן בלוגרים ובלוגריות בתחומים אלו, המעוניינים ללמוד מהטובים ביותר.

Special workshops for scientists and science communicators will be held as part of the 6^th Israeli Science Communication Conference.

The workshops will be led by:

Dr. James Gillies, Head of communication, CERN, Geneva.

Prof. Bruce Lewenstein, Science Communication Professor in the Department of Communication and head of the Science & Technology Studies department at Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, USA.

 

When?  Thursday, June 25^th, 09:30-12:15

Where?  Davidson Institute, the educational arm of the Weizmann Institute of Science. Classes 1,2.

Who should participate?

1.    Scientists, Engineers, Physicians and Mathematicians who are interested in improving their communication skills with the public and the media.  

2.    Science, environment and health reporters, as well as bloggers in these fields, who want to learn from the best.
