Emerging national plan for population redistribution

I think that all those involved should read the article in The Wall
Street Journal of Feb. 26th by Jose De Cordoba in which he relates the
recently prepared nation-wide plan for the redistrbution of the
Haitian population away from Port-au-Prince and to the "long-
unproductive countryside and neglected regional cities". The plan is
being prepared by "scores of experts" for the upcoming donors
conference in New York on March 31st.

I would think that ISOCARP members should be involved in this effort
if at all possible.
