Chapter Meeting Saturday 16th July 2005

Thanks to all who participated at the Chapter Meeting held at Kashmir
Hall, YMCA Tourist Hostel, New Delhi on July 16th 2005.
Some of the Points that were discussed.
1. Meet ISCEA New Membership Goals. (1000 Members in India by June
2006)
2. Develop a web site to promote ISCEA operation in India. Develop an
ISCEA (India) newsletter.
3. Find Supply Chain Related Product and Services companies to
sponsor the Chapter meetings. Even with a sponsor, we will still
continue to collect the Rs. 200/=. This will go to pay ISCEA operation
related bills.
4. To deliver CSCM Exam review workshops by splitting it into a "10
Saturday CSCM Review Workshop". The exam will follow subsequent to the
last Saturday workshop.
5. All new member will be mailed welcome package and membership card
from the ISCEA (India) office. ISCEA HQ will send letterhead and
membership card.
6. Indian ISCEA Chapter Members will be informed about the meeting via
email 2 weeks prior to the each Chapter meeting and remind them via
email the week of the event including the ISCEA(India) Google group.
The meeting will be joined by members from other parts of India via a
conference bridge.
7. Those who sign up for the CSCM exam, but live in a country where
LaserGrade Test Center is not available. Members from Gulf region will
be encouraged to come to India to take the CSCM exam. First CSCM exam
is planned for Nov 2005.
8. Next month Chapter meeting and subject of discussion will be
informed shortly.
