Support to our fellow climate activist, Kenneth from Ghana, who became parent to 5 newborns on the same day!

Dear Colleagues,

How are you today? I'm not sure if you have seen my post about providing support to our fellow climate activist, Kenneth from Ghana.

If you haven't yet, I encourage you to read the story of Kenneth, a climate change activist from Ghana, and his wife, Nana Yaa, who recently became parents to 5 newborn babies on the same day! One of them is still in a neonatal intensive care incubator (NICU) and the mother has undergone surgeries while giving birth. Kenneth is an active member of several climate change networks in Africa and beyond, and he is actively engaged in the UNFCCC processes since COP15 back in 2009! The newborns need special nutrition which is very expensive and Kenneth and his wife cannot afford. That's why the money raised will be used for their food and also cover all hospital-related bills, such as the surgery and the NICU bills that keep increasing over days.

We crossed the 2,500 Euro in donations this morning! However, we still didn't reach the funding goal of 8,000 Euro to support his young family. There is only 1 DAY left to support before the fundraiser that I have started on their behalf ends.
