Job Title: Project Manager (Contract)
Location: Tallahassee, FL (On-Site)
Any visa is fine ( W2 role , no C2C )
Key Responsibility:
· Manage all aspects of the Data Warehouse project across the enterprise.
· Integration Management:
o Direct and manage all project work.
o Monitor and control progress and manage changes.
o Facilitate cooperation and motivate team members to accomplish goals.
· Scope Management:
o Define and manage scope and requirements.
o Validate and control the project scope.
· Time Management:
o Plan, define and develop schedules and activities.
o Estimate resources and activity durations.
o Monitor progress and compare against planned performance.
o Adjust schedule/resources to meet milestones.
· Quality Management:
o Plan and identify quality requirements.
o Perform quality management and control deliverable quality.
· Human Resource Management:
o Plan and identify human resource needs.
o Select, develop, manage, and coordinate project teams, including DOR and vendor staff.
· Communications & Organizational Change Management:
o Plan and manage project communications.
o Define the content and format of project reports.
o Coordinate internal/external communications, including instruction/training.
o Ensure proper documentation and provide knowledge transfer.
· Risk Management:
o Plan for and identify risks.
o Perform risk analysis and plan mitigation strategies.
o Implement and manage those strategies.
· Stakeholder Management:
o Coordinate with stakeholders across DOR, external entities, and the public.
o Plan and manage stakeholder expectations.
· Manage the project in accordance with Florida IT Project Management and Oversight Standards (Rules 60GG-1.001 to 60GG-1.009, F.A.C.), and provide required documentation.
· Follow all Department, ISP, and team-defined standards and procedures.
· Perform other related duties as required.
Required Experience:
· PMP Certification from PMI
· Experience managing IT projects over the last 5 years.
· Successfully managed the delivery of data warehouse projects over the last 5 years.
· Managed large-scale vendor-based system implementations.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
· Knowledge of / Experience with implementation of cloud-based data warehousing concepts
· Experience managing the development of a customer-facing application project
· Knowledge of / Experience with Snowflake Data Lake/Warehouse
· Knowledge of / Experience in change management processes and procedures, including communication and training for internal staff and external customers
· Experience integrating waterfall and agile project management methodologies
· Knowledge of project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
· Knowledge of Florida Information Technology Project Management and Oversight Standards - Rules 60GG-1.001 through 60GG-1.009, F.A.C.
· Knowledge of ISO / IEC 20000 Information Technology Service Management
· Knowledge of MS Office Suite, MS Project
· Knowledge of Microfocus PPM
· Knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO)
· Knowledge of JIRA
· Proven ability to complete projects according to scope, budget, and schedule
· Ability to understand business functionality to support the project
· Ability to manage multiple work streams and keep them on schedule
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Experience managing diverse stakeholders and project teams

Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or other technology-related field
· Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
