Lets all welcome together Brian Walker of Profit tools to be a member
of our group. Iam sure his entry into the team would help in building
up a strong relationship between the acdemic / researchers and
industry community. The URL of his company and his mail with their
expectations have been attached. Please put down your suggestions and
ideas on Ad-Hoc networking inter-working with RFID, WiFi, GPS
technologies.
Currently Im working on integration of CAN network technology with Ad-
Hoc networks. In a week time I wish to publish the first version of
the work to our community members. Please give your suitable inputs
and suggestions such that the work can be implemented for industry
ends.

I am the Alliance Manager for Profit Tools. Profit Tools sells
software to the trucking industry to run their enterprise. www.profittools.net
Our clients need better tools to communicate, track and manage their
truck drivers. We have been looking in to Mesh Networks, GPS, RFID,
in truck devices for Document Scanning etc. as possible solutions the
their need for a low cost way of moving information.
We saw your Google Group and would like to join in. I am also
wondering if you have any Industry partners at this time? What the
current state of your work is? Are you nearing any deliverable
solutions?

especially in the Intermodal (Container movement) Trucking area.
