Dear All,

Would anybody from the GMA be available and willing to join the Trafford and Stockport College Group's Engineering Skills Advisory Boards? They'd like a representative from the IMechE to support them twice a year with their 2-hour in person meetings.

I am starting a new job in October, hence it will be difficult for me to commit to their in person meetings, first one being on the 13th October 1-3pm at their Stretford campus.

Please let me know by the end of this week at the latest, and I'll make the necessary introductions. Many Thanks

Kind regards
Murat

Message : Hello Murat

Trafford and Stockport College Group has Skills Advisory Boards twice a year in each curriculum area.

Engineering is a key area for us, with Engineering students at our Stockport and Stretford campuses.  We would like to invite IMechE to join our Engineering Skills Advisory.  There are 2 meetings, a year each taking 2 hours.

Could we maybe have a Teams call, or I could send you the Terms of Reference? The first Board for this academic year is Monday, 13th October    1-3pm at our Stretford campus.

Kind regards
Julie Abbott

Thank you Helen,

I'm discussing this with Olawole from the GMA area, and I think he may be able to help locally.  If that fails, then I'll reach out to Jelena to see what we can do.

Regards,
Murat

Dear Murat,

Thanks for the call out.

Unfortunately I’m already over committed.

maybe the process industry group has someone? the chair will have access to the membership database for his/ her region and could do a call out?

Or Jelena (staff) maybe able to find someone.

Best wishes
Helen
