Small room for rent on Berkeley/Oakland border $450

Hi All,
We have a small room for rent for $450 in our upstairs duplex in North
Oakland right near the Nomad Cafe and Ashby BART. We are looking for
someone short term or long term starting Sept. 1st. We would love a
good communicator who is respectful and wants to keep the common space
and kitchen pretty clean and share an occasional meal and
conversation. We try to be environmentally aware and take shorter
showers and line dry our clothes when we can. We are a librarian and a
school teacher who play many instruments including fiddle and
accordian and like to have potlucks.
You would be sharing with two women in their thirties, one vocal,
fluffy black kitty and two goldfish.
The landlord requires a credit check for longterm applicants.
