Hello fellow sangha members --
We have previously posted about finding people to start a housing group; now we are ready to move ahead and find a lovely place to settle our budding community! We are three now, and we welcome contacts from individuals interested in this type of opportunity. Generally, we ask that people have a personal practice (such as meditation, yoga, or similar) or are compatible with a quieter, moderate lifestyle.
Our group of mature, stable friends is looking for a suitable 3 to 5 bedroom rental in South Berkeley or North Oakland. Desirable features include spacious common areas, well maintained property, 2 baths, possible "extra" space for office/guest/yoga, and a pleasant neighborhood with street trees. Extra points for architectural character, laundry, storage, low-maintenance garden, and hot tub or jet bath! Average $700/bedroom. Available mid-July. Currently prefer south Berkeley or north Oakland, will consider especially attractive houses or large flats near Berkeley. We will appreciate your contacts or suggestions.
