articulated locomotives

I cant remember where i read it,but I remember that the article said
that at one time, I.C. had a couple of articulated locos. Does
anybody have any info on them? I sure would like to see a pic of them
if anybody has one.

The IC had 10 of them at one time, IC 6000-6009. I found pictures of a
couple of them at: http://www.yesteryeardepot.com/illcent.htm

They are listed on the roster as 2-6-6-2 "Mallet Compound" The roster
is posted at:
http://illinoiscentral.net/Steam%20Roster/SteamRoster.html

They apppear on the 1936 roster, but are not on the 1950 roster.
