Looking for History of IC 2904 Dining Car

Hi, David Little here. I live in Aiken, SC and we are currently
building a a full scale replica of the city's original train station.
As part of the project, we purchased the above dining car from the
Hale family in Murray, Kentucky. It is reported they purchased the car
in 1987 (part of a three car purchase) from the railroad. The cars
were part of the "old Carbondale wreck train" after the IC took them
out of passenger service. I am looking for the history of the car.
It is going to be restored to its original condition (we have the
information on the original design), but we do not know the history of
the car.
