I got close to 1202 when it came through Dubuque, but not close enough
to get frame numbers. There has been quite a bit of speculation
elsewhere about the units that were used in the program. I can verify
that 1419, 1438 and 1482 came through Dubuque on their way to Relco in
Albia, Iowa for the conversion. According to what I've read, 1489 and
1499 were also part of the program.

As for which 1200s were which 1400s, I've seen partial/conflicting info
that I am unable to verify. For what it's worth I have seen info that
says 1201 was formerly 1489 or 1438 and 1202 is supposed to have been
1499. I can't verify this info, however.

When the units left Relco, some went straight into Chicago on the IC&E.
Others were delivered by the IC&E to Dubuque for the trip east on M338.
At the very least, 1202 & 1203 came through Dubuque.
