Caspian Owners:

It is a sadness that I feel as I read of Mr. Quinney's passing.  And yet, a smile comes across my face as I recall Mr. Robin speak in groups or individually about his beloved Caspians.  He recognized, appreciated , and cared for them for what they are - a rare endangered horse.  He, as others in his area, put forth the money and belief that they had indeed a rare find.  Louise often spoke of those such as Quinney who gave all and asked little in return.  His focus was saving the horse for the next generations.  Mr. Quinney shared his bloodlines with trade breeding in England and then later generations of his work came to America.
Mrs. Quinney, it was a great pleasure to meet and visit you and your husband.  You  are one of the early owners and promoters of this wonderful horse, the Caspian.   The legacy and commitment you and Mr. Quinney have provided will long be remembered in the writings of the Caspian.

Know you are appreciated.

Sincerely,

Joyce and Felix Covington
