It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that Hopstone Shabdiz
died this morning aged 29 years. He has been ones of Henden Studs top
stallions for nearly 25 years having bought him as a 5 year old from
Eric and Mavis Worthington.

He has been a magnificent servant of the breed, both ridden and in
hand, being a breed champion on many occasions, a veterans cup winner
frequently and the sire of over 60 progeny.

He will be greatly missed at the stud and particularly at this years
breed show. He always enjoyed the show ring where he knew how to
present himself to the best advantage. He participated in last years
show and 2 of my mares will foal his last progeny this month.

I am grateful to have his son, Henden Troy, to continue his
bloodlines.

Dear Fleur,

I am sad also to see he has passed, but his legacy is tremendous.  We shall treasure our Shabiz daughter all the more.
My best to you and your family,
