Thank you!

We have had a difficult week here with a 3/4 Caspian gelding apparently
attacked by a dog/s last week. He has a broken jaw and severe facial
wounds and swelling, and skin off around the flanks and fetlocks.
Fortunately the vet practice we use is now less than 1km away and they
have yards and small paddocks on about 15 acres, so he is being looked
after there. "Dennis" was expected to have to be "put down" on Tuesday
but on Wednesday they gave him a 2 day reprieve, and we will see how he
progresses. He has lost an enormous amount of weight but he is eating
now. He is such a fabulous character, extremely curious, clever and
loves people. Our staff love him, they named him after Dennis the
Menace, because he is always getting into things. He is the only
off-spring that we bred from Markazi Milad before he was sold. He has a
lovely long, free flowing walk and trot. Hopefully he will make it!

I am looking for fairly urgent homes for my Caspians as I am returning
to post grad studies at Uni in Sydney, commencing in March. While we
will keep our property for the short term, and the horses can be checked
by the staff from our e-commerce equestrian business, I won't be here
very often, if at all, during the semester. If anyone is interested
please let me know ASAP. They are all in good to fat condition with
shiny coats. The sleek coats won't last as the days begin to shorten
and the wet season sets in, so best to see them now! :-)

I have several geldings, 1 mare, a fabulous quality young mare, a filly
rising 2 and three stallions. I also still have my old mares Talafi and
Dohkter and two 3/4 bred geldings who will make beautiful ponies.

regards to all

Maureen
