Role Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber Infrastructure Engineering SME / Technical Lead to design and automate cloud-native platforms for a global financial enterprise. This is a critical role that sits at the intersection of Cloud Engineering, DevOps, and Platform Reliability. You will be responsible for the "foundation" that supports mission-critical, real-time banking applications, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and highly available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and maintain production-grade infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.

  • Cloud Orchestration: Manage and scale containerized workloads on Kubernetes (EKS) within a complex, hybrid-cloud environment.

  • AWS Ecosystem Management: Build and optimize core services across Networking (VPC), Compute (EC2), Identity (IAM), and Storage (S3).

  • CI/CD Leadership: Architect automated deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI) to ensure rapid and safe production changes.

  • Operational Excellence: Partner with SRE and Dev teams to troubleshoot complex integration issues, implement robust monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana), and maintain operational runbooks.

  • Real-Time Integration: Support the integration of telecom-adjacent platforms (VoIP, SIP, SBCs) where low-latency performance is a top priority.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ Years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.

  • Deep AWS Expertise: Proven track record with VPC design, IAM policy hardening, EKS management, and RDS.

  • IaC Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Terraform for multi-account environment management.

  • Kubernetes Mastery: Experience running and troubleshooting K8s in a large-scale production setting.

  • Networking Fundamentals: Strong grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, TLS termination, and Load Balancing.

  • Linux & Scripting: High proficiency in Linux systems and shell scripting (Bash/Python).

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience in Financial Services or regulated environments.

  • Knowledge of VoIP/Real-Time Communications (SIP, RTP, Call Routing).

  • Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or AWS SQS.

  • Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect/DevOps Engineer, CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), or HashiCorp Terraform Associate.
