VISUAL OBJECT CLASS RECOGNITION CHALLENGE

The EC Project PASCAL is organizing a Visual Object Classes
Recognition Challenge. This is the second time that the challenge has
been run.  The 2006 challenge specifies ten object classes to be
recognized from quite challenging images.

Details of the challenge, including the training images and a
development kit (Matlab code for evaluation, and baseline algorithms),
are available at:

TIMETABLE

* 14 Feb 2006 : Development kit (training and validation data plus
    evaluation software) made available.

* 31 March 2006: Test set made available

* 21 April 2006: DEADLINE for submission of results

* 7 May 2006: Half-day (afternoon) challenge workshop to be held in
    conjunction with ECCV06, Graz, Austria.
