Hi all,

My classes needed to be spiced up with activities, games .... for ESL learners so I was surfing the internet and found these fabulous websites  www.eslkidstuff.com/gamesmenue.htm and www.teachingenglish.org.uk/try/activities/shtml. THe eslkids is more directed to elementary students, i think secondary could use a little of bit of fun class. The other uk website has some activities for both elementary and secondary levels.
I have a question to ask, has anyone heard of the " say what" game. We had some TCNJ students use this game in a class presentation. They said a professor or teacher from TCNJ gave them the idea. Now I tried to contact  people from my group in Kuwait but unfortunately couldn't get a hold of their emails. So if you've heard about this game please send anything.

enjoy,
hala

Dear Hala,

Thanks for sharing. I tutor a group of Chinese kids on the weekend. I will go through the websites recommended by you for some ideas.

I taught in a Chinese school and had 30-40 students in one class. It was hard but I used lot of games and activities. It helped a lot. I remember using some activities from bogglesworld.com for middle school students. There is a cool website for printing flashcards www.mes-english.com and www.genkienglish.net/games.htm for elementary students.

I will ask other TCNJ students who work with me in the same school about 'say what' game. I don't know about it.

Sincerely,

Trapti
