Does anyone have any information about pseudoprolactinomas? Null
Tumors?

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking, but I can tell you that my
prolactin levels were improved secondary to taking thyroid meds and
finally treating my hypothyroidism, thereby my original prolactinoma
could have been a pseudotumor:)?? Yahoo for lowering prolactin!

all this time I could have had primary hypothyroidism but was treating
prolactin instead...mmm

I have micro prolactinoma for about 5 years and I'm on Dostinex, 0,25 mg once in a week. This way I can keep the side effects low and my prolactin levels are quite normal. I also have a regular period. Main main symptom is fatigue and I'm chronically tired and sleepy. Do you also have those symptoms ? My Endo thinks these are not the typical symptoms of prolactinoma. My thyroid levels are now normal too, I had hypothyroidism for a while, but with a help of the chinese medicine the blood results are normal again.

So I don't have any other explanation for my tiredness and lack of energy. My Ferritin level is 48. What do you think?

Hi Ramani,

I am taking Donstinex, 0.75mg/week (3 half-pill doses per week) and the one side effect I have is that I am always unusually sleepy on the morning after I take a dose. It's a kind of foggy tiredness, I would say. It usually lifts an hour or so after I get up and going. Other than that, I haven't noticed unusual fatigue.
