As I slog my way through the working digital version of the Cybersecurity Hyperglossary making updates and corrections this morning, I've noticed the frequency of 'value' and related word forms or terms (values, valued, valuable, invaluable, devalue, valuation, evaluate, evaluates, evaluated, evaluation ...).  If you have played Scrabble, you doubtless recognise the challenge of considering variants of a given string.  This is just one of many examples.

I started systematically hyperlinking those terms to the entries for 'value' or 'evaluate', then realised that 'valuable' and 'value' both have several distinct meanings, so (for now at least) I have these six definitions:

... and, just like that, another few hours have evaporated.  Time for a gardening break!

Kind regards/Ngā mihi,

PS  Just as I was heading out into the garden, I noticed that "ISO/IEC 38500" in the top image is inconsistent with other cited references: it should, of course, be a hyperlinked term in red underlined italics.  Oh the curse of a pattern-sensitive hypercritical perfectionist proofreader's autistic mind!
